References and Inspiration; Intertextual references (films, music videos, adverts, cinematic style)*****

Due to the concept behind the song and lyrics, me and Nicole have come up with some intertextual references.
Films
These films provide us with inspiration for our music video

Casino Royale

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
As we are hoping to incorporate poker into our music video, I came up with Lock Stock, due to the poker scene in particular and the setting of the room.

Fight Club
Our song could denote being controlled, therefore Fightclub's concept is very relevant.

Metropolis

Music Videos

Keri Hilson - Knock You Down
We thought of this music video as the woman is shown falling, which is a concept we want to incorporate in our music video.

Keane - Everybody's Changing
An idea in which I had was to incorporate some of the band's performance into the music video by fades and an overlay of them playing over the narrative, in Keane's music video they this technique.

Fall Out Boy - the Take Over, The Break's Over
The band Forerunner song Chasing  Aces sounds a lot like Fall Out Boy's Take over, Breaks over, therefore this is part of our inspiration for our music video.
